Why this firm

Before he was a custody attorney, he was a father fighting for his son.

Months monitored

Six months of professionally monitored visitation. A 14-hour round trip, every weekend. For five years, Binoye Jos patiently fought to spend time with his son.

Two prestigious firms represented him for years. When they couldn’t get what he needed, he took the matter into his own hands. He taught himself the law and won equal custody.

He never wanted to lose it, so he went to law school after securing it. Then he built this firm, so you wouldn’t have to do it alone.

The equal-custody result is Mr. Jos’s own outcome as a self-represented parent. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Every case is different.

You work with a team built on faith — attorneys he handpicked, who share what carried him through the hardest years of his life.

Custody, in every form it takes.

Four ways we step in
01

Custody & visitation

Legal and physical custody, parenting time, and a schedule built around your children’s best interest, and yours.

02

Modifications & move-aways

Circumstances change. It is your fundamental constitutional right to travel with your child — we protect you in relocation disputes when a parent wants to move with the children.

03

Emergency orders

When something threatens your children, we move immediately for the protection the situation demands.

04

Prepared, not reactive

Custody is decided in the documents, long before the hearing. Nothing in your case is left to the last minute.

Your children’s time is worth getting right.

If it wasn’t for JOS Family Law, I would not have been able to come to a settlement that I felt was fair for both parties.

The name

Jos means Joseph.

People often ask about the name. It comes from Joseph, the head of the Holy Family. In the Catholic faith, Saint Joseph is the ultimate protector: a man of quiet strength and sacrifice who shielded his household through their most vulnerable moments.

Carrying that name is a daily reminder of a higher purpose. JOS Family Law was built to honor it — to protect, guide, and defend Orange County families with that same devotion.

“Behold, I am with you always.”
Let us carry the legal burden so you can focus on healing your family.
01

We stand in faith

A team who pray for our clients, carry their burdens, and believe in the sanctity of the family.

02

We fight with integrity

Advocating for your family with the honor, honesty, and strength you deserve.

03

You have a community

From the first call, you are backed by people standing in your corner, legally and spiritually.

What parents ask first.

What’s the difference between legal and physical custody?

Legal custody is who makes the major decisions: school, medical, religion. Physical custody is where the children live and the parenting schedule. Either can be shared or held by one parent; we’ll explain what each means for your situation.

Can I get custody as a father, or if we were never married?

California decides custody on the best interest of the child, not a parent’s gender or marital status. Unmarried parents have full rights once parentage is established, and we handle that step too.

I have a hearing soon. Can you help fast?

Yes. Tell us the date and we move quickly. If it’s an emergency, say so when you call and we prioritize it.

Can an existing custody order be changed?

Yes, when circumstances have changed. We handle modifications to custody, visitation, and support, plus move-away (relocation) disputes.

What happens on the first call?

A member of our team listens, answers your immediate questions, and provides an objective breakdown of how a court is likely to assess your case. You get a clear, realistic picture of where you stand and what your options are.
